See your mail

Each piece is photographed when it arrives and shows up in your mailbox online, with an email to tell you.

When a piece arrives, the mailroom photographs the envelope and logs it. It shows up in your mailbox, and everyone on the mailbox gets an email saying who it is from.

Open your mailbox

  1. Step 1Open Your mail. Each mailbox shows its status, your address and your plan.
  2. Step 2Select Open your mail.
  3. Step 3Use All, New, In the mailroom and Done to filter, or search by sender or name.
  4. Step 4Select a piece to see the envelope photo, its status, who it is addressed to and how long it is Kept free until.

At the top you see New mail, the scans and forwards used this period against your plan, and your days of free storage. Under What happened to it, each piece keeps a record of every step, from Received to what was done with it.

Before your form is verified

Mail that arrives is logged and kept for you, and you can see it. Nothing can be released until your PS Form 1583 is verified: see Complete USPS Form 1583. If your mailbox is paused for an unpaid invoice, mail is still received and kept, but nothing is released until it is paid.

Your address and proof of address

Once your mailbox is active, Copy address copies it in the USPS format, with your PMB on the street line. Proof-of-address letter opens a letter confirming your mailing address, which you can print or save as PDF.
