Virtual mailbox

Your mailbox, in your pocket

Every piece of mail is photographed when it arrives and waits in your inbox. Open and scan it, forward it, hold it for pickup or shred it, from your phone.

Sample business and sample mail

01 · Inbox

See it the day it arrives

The mail center logs each piece with a photo of the envelope, the sender and the kind of piece, and you are told by email.

  • Letters, large envelopes, packages, periodicals and signed-for mail
  • Search by sender and filter what is new
  • Choose several pieces and act on them together

02 · Your choice

Five things you can ask for

Open and scan, forward, hold for pickup, shred or recycle. You see what is included in your plan or what it costs before you confirm, and you can cancel a request the mailroom has not started.

  • Scans and forwards included each month by your plan
  • Postage for forwarding at cost
  • Only the actions your location offers are shown

03 · Record

A history for every piece

Each piece keeps a timeline: received, photographed, stored, opened, scanned, shipped, handed over or destroyed, with when it happened.

  • Pickups logged with who collected them
  • Shredding recorded with who did it and when
  • Nothing destroyed without your request

Pick up, shred, recycle

Everything else, handled the way you say

Hold mail and packages for pickup during the mail center's hours, or have junk shredded or recycled. Nothing is destroyed unless you ask, and every step is recorded.

  • Pickups are handed over and logged with the name of the person who collected them
  • Shredding and recycling are recorded with who did it and when
  • Free storage for the days your plan includes

Questions

How quickly is mail logged?

Mail is logged by the mail center when it arrives during its working hours. Each location sets how long its scans, parcels and pickups take, and Holuway shows its mailroom any request that runs late.

Can my team see the mail?

Yes. Invite people by email as viewers, managers or admins. Viewers see the mail; managers and admins can ask for scans, forwards and the rest. The owner keeps billing and the PS Form 1583.

How long is mail kept?

Your plan includes a number of free storage days. After that, the mail center may charge a daily storage fee, shown in its plan, until you forward, collect or shred the piece.

Give your business an address. Keep your mail in your pocket.

Choose a location, verify once, and every piece of mail is yours to read, forward or shred from anywhere.

  • Mail scanning

Ask for any letter to be opened and scanned to a PDF. Scans included in your plan, a free rescan if a page is cut off, and the original kept or forwarded afterwards.

  • Mail forwarding

Forward any piece when you want, or set automatic mail forwarding weekly, every two weeks or monthly. One parcel, tracking in your inbox, postage at cost.
