Mail scanning

Read your mail without opening a mailbox

See the envelope first. If you want what is inside, ask for it to be opened and scanned, and read every page as a PDF from anywhere.

One scan, step by step

From an envelope to a PDF you can read

Three moments in the real inbox, with a sample business and a sample letter.

  1. From the letter in your inbox, choose Open and scan. You see whether it is included in your plan before you confirm.

    Before
The envelope is photographed and waiting in your inbox, unopened.
    What happens
You choose Open and scan and confirm; you can cancel until the mailroom starts.
    After
The request is in the mailroom's queue.
  2. The mailroom opens the envelope and scans every page. The PDF is in your inbox with its page count, and you are told by email.

    Before
    The mailroom has your request.
    What happens
They open the envelope and scan each page into one PDF.
    After
The finished scan is in your inbox, ready to read or download.
  3. Read the PDF in your browser or download it. If a page is cut off or hard to read, ask for a rescan at no charge.

    Before
The scan is ready in your inbox.
    What happens
You open it and read each page.
    After
Keep the original in the mailroom, forward it or have it shredded.

Step 1 of 3

You ask for the scan

01 · Ask

You decide what gets opened

Nothing is opened unless you ask. Choose a letter from your inbox and ask for it to be scanned; you see whether it is included in your plan before you confirm.

  • Letters, large envelopes, legal and government mail
  • An optional note for the mailroom
  • Cancel while the mailroom has not started

02 · Read

Every page, as a PDF

The mailroom opens the envelope and scans every page. The PDF is in your inbox with the number of pages, and you are told by email when it is ready.

  • Read it in the browser or download it
  • Scans are private: served only to you and your team
  • Your plan sets how many scans a month are included

03 · Quality

A page cut off? Ask again, free

If a scan is unreadable or misses a page, say what was wrong and the mailroom scans it again at no charge.

  • Rescans are always free
  • The original stays in the mailroom
  • Forward or shred it afterwards
