01 · The address

A street address, not a PO Box

Your business address is the mail center's street address with your own private mailbox number. It receives letters and packages from every carrier, not only USPS.

  • Written in the USPS format, with PMB on the street line
  • Shown in your account ready to copy
  • Packages from any carrier, held or forwarded

02 · Proof of address

A letter that says where you receive mail

Once your mailbox is active, print a proof-of-address letter from the mail center, with your business name, your address and how long it has been yours.

  • Printable or saved as a PDF
  • States plainly that it is a mailing address at a registered mail center
  • Whether it is accepted is up to the organization asking for it

03 · Privacy

Keep your home address off the internet

Put the business address on your website, your listings and your invoices, and keep where you live to yourself. Your mail still reaches you, wherever you are.

  • Mail photographed and in your inbox the day it arrives
  • Forward it to your home or anywhere else on your schedule
  • Only you and the people you add see your mail

Your inbox

Every envelope, photographed the day it arrives

Mail never piles up unseen. Each piece is in your inbox with a photo of the envelope, the sender, the kind of piece and the date, and you are told by email when something new arrives.

  • Search by sender or name, filter new and in the mailroom
  • Choose several pieces at once and forward them together
  • A record of every step: received, stored, opened, scanned, shipped

Questions

Can I register an LLC with this address?

Many states accept a mail center address as a business mailing address. Some filings ask for a principal office or a registered agent address with their own rules, so check your state's requirements. Holuway Address is not a registered agent.

Will my bank accept it?

Banks set their own rules about mail center addresses. Many accept them as a mailing address; some ask for a physical location too. The proof-of-address letter helps where it is accepted.

How should I write my address?

Exactly as your account shows it: the mail center's street address with PMB and your box number on the same line. USPS can return mail that combines the box with a suite number.
