Sell mailboxes on Holuway

List your USPS-registered mail center, set your plans and prices, and send it to Holuway for review.

If your business is registered with USPS as a Commercial Mail Receiving Agency (PS Form 1583-A), you can sell business addresses with a digital mailbox at your location. Customers find you on Holuway Address, and you run the mailroom from your Holuway managing workspace.

Add your location

  1. Step 1Sign in and open Mailboxes.
  2. Step 2Select Add a location.
  3. Step 3Enter the Location name customers will see and your Street address with its suite, such as 10 Main St Ste 11. Customers' box numbers are added after it.
  4. Step 4Enter the City, State and ZIP code, and select Add location.

The page shows how your customers' addresses will read. USPS requires PMB and the box number on the street line.

Finish the setup

The checklist under Before you go live tracks what is left. On the location page:

  • Location details: phone, email for customers, a description, and the Box numbers range customers get numbers from. Select Save details.
  • Pickup hours: when customers can collect mail in person. Select Save hours.
  • Services you offer: switch on open and scan, forwarding, pickup, shredding, recycling and packages. Customers can ask only for what is on.
  • USPS CMRA registration: the date the Post Office accepted your PS Form 1583-A, the Post Office, and a copy of the form. Tick the confirmation and select Upload and confirm.
  • Plans: select Add a plan and set the price, setup fee, what it includes and the fees beyond it. Holuway shows only what you set.
  • Payouts: customers pay you directly through Stripe. Select Set up payouts to set them up once for your organization.

You can also add Photos and link a Spaces location for Meeting rooms.

Go live

  1. Step 1When every step is done, select Send for review under Go live.
  2. Step 2The location shows In review while Holuway checks your PS Form 1583-A against the address. You get an email with the decision.
  3. Step 3Approved, it shows Live and customers can buy a mailbox. If it shows Needs changes, read the reason, fix it and send it again.

To stop new sign-ups, select Stop new sign-ups; existing customers are not affected. Resume sign-ups opens it again.

Your team

On your organization's Team page, give people the Address permissions they need: Run mailboxes, Mailroom, USPS compliance and Destroy mail.
