Claim your property
If Holuway shows your property before you joined, claim it to manage its listing and answer renters.
Updated October 11, 2026
Some listings on Holuway are made from what a property publishes on its own website, before its operator has joined. They are marked as not yet claimed. Renters can still send requests, and Holuway keeps them for the operator.
Claiming is free.
Send a claim
- 1On the listing, find Is this your property? and select Claim this property.
- 2Sign in with a landlord account, or select Create a landlord account.
- 3Say in a sentence or two how your organization operates the place, for example that you own it or manage it under an agreement.
- 4Add a document that shows it: a deed, management agreement, tax bill or utility bill in your organization's name. PDF, JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB.
- 5Select Send claim for review.
A person at Holuway checks every claim, usually within two business days, and emails you the decision. Your document stays private. Follow your claims under Places, where you can also select Withdraw claim.
After your claim is verified
Open the place under Places and select Start the listing. It starts as a draft filled in with what Holuway already knows, such as homes, amenities and photos from your website. Nothing is public until you check every detail and publish it.
Photos from your website are used only if you choose them and confirm you have the right to use them.
Requests renters sent before you claimed the place are on your Leads page, ready to answer.
Stop emails about a property
If we emailed you about renters asking after a property and you do not want these emails, use the link in the email and select Stop these emails. You can still claim a property later.
